The historic Corn Exchange Bank Building in East Harlem, which was left to decay for decades - and had only a two-story facade left due to fire and water damage - was reborn, keeping the integrity of the original structure which was completed in 1884 by the architectural firm of Lamb & Rich. Located at 81 East 125th Street, next to the 125th Street Metro North Station.
Lynn Lieberman is an artist who lives and works in East Harlem. She is best known for her watercolor streetscapes and maps, which are also found at NYCMapsbyAFineLyne in the Etsy Shop.
