Artist's Description

Fanelli's Cafe is said to be NYC's second-oldest food and drink establishment, having various owners, since 1847. Located at 94 Prince Street in Soho, it became a tavern in the year 1863. Since it was practically next door to Paula Cooper's gallery, it was also a gathering place for artists and locals, with some well-known names like Chuck Close, Rocky Graziano and Bob Dylan.
